Who we are

What we collect
• Name, email, and anything you type in a form (masterclass, booking, purchase, support, quiz).
• Phone number, if you give it for a call or a community group.
• Purchase and invoice data. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider. We do not store them.
• For affiliates: company name and payout details (for example IBAN).
• Usage data: pages viewed, emails opened, video progress, device and browser type, IP address, and cookie or pixel identifiers.
• Messages you send us, including reviews and replies.
We do not aim this site at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
• To deliver what you asked for (course access, a call, a download, a purchase) — contract.
• To send the emails you signed up for — consent. One-click unsubscribe in every email.
• Invoices and tax records — legal obligation (Dutch tax retention).
• Site security, fraud prevention, and aggregated product improvement — legitimate interest.
• Ads measurement and retargeting — consent via the cookie banner.
• Live or free sessions may be recorded. We say so in the session. Joining is consent to limited use of first name and voice for students who missed it and for on-demand versions. We do not use your face in ads without a separate OK.
How long we keep it
Purchase and invoice records: as long as Dutch tax law requires.
Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Booking and support messages: as long as needed to handle the request, then deleted or archived.
Cookie and ad identifiers: according to the vendor and your banner choice, typically up to 12–24 months.

Analytics, marketing, chat and embedded video/social cookies run only after you accept them in the banner. That includes Google Analytics, TruConversion, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, ConvertBox and similar tools.
On investitor1ora.ro, consent is collected through GetTerms (with Google Tag Manager consent mode). You can change or withdraw it in the banner. On other sites, use the banner on that site or your browser settings.
Blocking non-essential cookies does not stop a purchase or a booked call.
We use advertising pixels to measure whether an ad led to a signup or a sale. Those vendors may combine that signal with their own profiles. That is not a sale of your personal data. We do not sell personal data and we never have.

• Checkout and payments: ThriveCart, Stripe, PayPal (PCI-DSS). Some products may be sold via Whop; then Whop’s own policy also applies
• Booking: LunaCal.ai; calls may run on Zoom
• Email: SendFox
• Chat: Tawk.to, AnyChat.one
• Analytics and conversion: Google Analytics, TruConversion
• Ads: Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, X
• Video embeds and course video: YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia
• Reviews: Trustpilot
• Affiliates: ThriveCart partner programme and GoAffPro
• Community: Discord, and WhatsApp if you join a group
• Consent banner (investitor1ora.ro): GetTerms
Some vendors store data in the United States. Transfers rely on an adequacy mechanism (for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you join Discord or WhatsApp, other members may see your name or phone number. We do not control how members use that.
Affiliate partners receive only what is needed to run the programme.
We may disclose data if the law requires it, or if the business is sold — we will notify you before a new controller takes over.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, or to stop marketing. Write to contact@theinstituteoftrading.com.
We may keep invoices after a deletion request where tax law requires it.
Security
We use standard technical and organisational measures (access control, TLS, processor contracts). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
